Haleck’s
autobiography
Haleck’s story begins in Guatemala City and grows roots in the small town of Burlington, CT. From a young age, he was fascinated by the curious and the unseen, always drawn to people and what makes them feel inspired, understood, and motivated. Known for lifting others up, cheering them on, and helping them recognize their own potential, that natural instinct eventually matured into a true purpose—one that pushed him to master and share his leadership, communication, and the effortless connection he builds with everyone around him.
Then there’s Ada Rios—his mother, mentor, and a powerful force in her own right. Since 2000, Ada has been on a relentless entrepreneurial journey. With 25 years of education and experience behind her, she’s collected a lifetime’s worth of insight, strength, and vision. Those who know her admire her resilience and the way she turns knowledge into impact. Her path has always hinted at something bigger, something meant to serve and uplift the next generation.
In 2023, their individual journeys naturally converged. From the outside, it was easy to see how aligned their passions were—Ada’s decades of expertise and Haleck’s drive to empower others made for a perfect collaboration. That partnership sparked The Skills Project, the foundation for what would soon become
Skills Without School.
Today, their shared mission is clear: to elevate the body, mind, and spirit of anyone ready to grow. What began as two separate stories has become a united movement—one focused on giving people the tools and confidence to build a future they can be proud of.

Austin Farineau

INTRODUCES OUR CHINESE INSTRUCTOR CLASSES
Hello, my name is Austin and I’m 25 years old. Although I may be relatively young, I possess a considerable amount of experience for my age. I’ve been practicing traditional Chinese remedies since 2005.
My family originates from Hong Kong, and my grandmother instilled in me a deep appreciation for Chinese culture. She instructed me in the art of preparing herbal teas, soups, and Feng Shui to share with the world. Throughout my upbringing, she educated me on the seasonal applications of herbal remedies and the importance of utilizing taste, smell, sight, and touch. Now I am prepared to share this knowledge with you!
